Board Members present: Patrick Lanning, Ron Farmer, Sandra Bishop, and Mel Menegat. Commissioner Dorothy Anderson was excused.

Others present: Randy Berggren, JoAnn Andersen, Tom Buckhouse, Dick Helgeson, Jim Origliosso, Jim Wiley, Jean Meyers, and Krista Hince of the EWEB staff; and Dean Nordstrom, Consultant.

Prior to opening the Executive Session, EWEB Board President Patrick Lanning opened a public meeting to determine whether to include reporters in the Executive Sessions dealing with union negotiations and strategies.

It was moved by Commissioner Bishop, seconded by Vice President Farmer, to hold closed Executives Sessions pertaining to any union negotiations and strategies as allowed by law under ORS 192.660(1)(d), and to exclude any news media from attending.

Voting Yes - 4; No - 0; Motion carried.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

The Eugene Water & Electric Board of Commissioners held an Executive Session, pursuant to ORS 192.660(1)(d), to conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to carry on labor negotiations.

The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
