Backflow training
Eugene Water & Electric Board helps sponsor Cross Connection Certification and Re-certification Training for contractors and individuals.

The following training courses will be offered in Eugene in 2008-09:

Backflow Tester Training
A five-day course will be offered Nov. 17-21, 2008, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $550 per person.

An evening Tester Training course will be offered on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Jan. 7-March 5, 2008. The cost is $550.00.

Prep Class (for testers who need practice before re-certification exam)
A course will be offered Feb. 12, 2008, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $100 per person.

Re-certification Training
Re-certification will be offered Feb. 13, 14 or 15, 2008 from 8 a.m to 4 p.m. The cost is $160 per person (includes ABPA certification fee).

Specialist/Inspector Course
A four-day course will be offered Jan. 12-15, 2009, 8 a.m .to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $400 per person.

Gauge Calibration
Gauge calibration will be offered Feb. 8, 2008. The cost is $35 per gauge for those who attended EWEB training in 2007-08; $60 for those who have not attended EWEB training in 2007-08.
