Ron Farmer
Ron Farmer represents Eugene Wards 4 and 5 and has been an EWEB commissioner since July 2002.
Ron believes EWEB's core mission centers in the quality and reliability of our electric
and water service, while providing a reasonable cost to our customers.
Ron has worked in banking for 30 years. Headquartered in Eugene, he is the Regional
President of Bank of America.
Strongly committed to community service, Ron is a director for both the Sacred Heart
Medical Foundation and Looking Glass Family Services. He is a trustee of the Northwest
Public Power Association and serves on the Advisory Boards for Womenspace and Committed Partners for Youth.
Ron is past chairman of the Eugene Chamber of Commerce, past president of the University of Oregon Alumni
Association and an ex-officio trustee for the University of Oregon Foundation. He has served as a director
for the Local Government Affairs Council, the Lane Metro Partnership and the McKenzie Watershed Council.
Additionally, Ron provides fundraising leadership for charitable organizations throughout the community.
