EWEB is committed to delivering reliable electricity and clean water to its
customer-owners. This often requires EWEB to do construction projects to
maintain and upgrade utility infrastructure.
We want to keep you informed of long-term projects that may impact traffic or other public access
in the community. Check the list of current construction
below so that you can plan accordingly. This list will be updated frequently.
||Concord St. from Echo Hollow Rd. to the dead end 200 feet east of Rutledge St.
||EWEB has replaced and upgraded approximately 1,300 feet of 4 inch pipe that has had several failures with new more durable 8 inch ductile iron water main.
Crews are now restoring paved surfaces.
||Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday with occasional work on Fridays.
Construction activity may cause temporary traffic delays and noise. EWEB will provide advanced notification prior to any driveway access limitations or water service interruptions.
At times, construction activities may affect passage to the bike path from Concord St. to Taney St.
||Work began the first week of September. Due to near record rainfall in October, paving work will be completed as weather allows through the month of November 2016.
||E. Amazon Drive from Potter St. to Dillard Rd.
||EWEB crews will replace about 2,000 feet of 8” cast iron main with new ductile iron pipe ahead of a 2017 City of Eugene road project.
Crews will also install 2,000 feet of 12” ductile iron pipe for a future connection of the Dillard 800’ upper level pump system to the
Shasta 800’ upper level pump system to provide redundant pumping capability that will improve reliability.
||Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Thursday with occasional Friday work.

||Work is scheduled to begin in early October and completion for this work is scheduled for late December 2016.
