Meeting rooms

As a service to the community, the Eugene Water & Electric Board makes its meeting rooms and other facilities available to the public.

The meeting rooms in the North Headquarters Building are available to community organizations, public entities, and any recognized non-profit, non-discriminatory organization with open membership.

The rooms are available only during evening hours and weekends, when not required for utility purposes, and are free of charge with the exception of a trash disposal and cleanup fee, if food is to be served.

Groups using the facilities will be subject to the following guidelines:

  • No admission fee can be charged.
  • No commercial activities that result in monetary gain or that will invite public participation are allowed.
  • No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
  • No smoking is allowed.
  • No parties (baby showers, receptions, birthday parties, etc.) are allowed.
How to reserve a room

Complete an application form and deliver it to the EWEB receptionist at 500 East Fourth Avenue, fax it to (541) 484-3762, or mail it to EWEB, PO Box 10148, Eugene, OR 97440-2148.

General rules
  • The organization reserving the room must designate a representative who will be responsible for the protection, care and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Rooms must be kept clean, with furniture returned to specific locations; garbage and trash must be removed; activities of group members and guests must be restricted to the room/area reserved; sound levels should not be disruptive to users of other meeting rooms or plaza; and users need to be conscious of building security.
  • EWEB reserves the right to use these facilities at any time; however, reservations will not be cancelled without at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Groups will be required to sign an agreement regarding use of the facility.
  • EWEB reserves the right to exclude any individual or groups from the premises.
  • Violation of the above policy and general rules, creation of a disturbance, or willful damage of any property or equipment may result in cancellation of an organization’s privilege of further use of these facilities.
