Education Grants Program
EWEB's commitment to education in the community is evident in the grant funds provided
to area educators. EWEB provides grant opportunities to the four area school districts
that encompass the utility's service area, to the Energy Management Program at Lane
Community College and to local non-profit organizations for energy and water education
activities.
The EWEB Education Grant Program provides funding for water and energy education
activities in four area school districts: Eugene, Bethel, Springfield and McKenzie.
The utility currently dedicates more than $500,000 annually to fund these water and energy
education activities. Explore the districts' energy and water education websites
below to learn about the supported programs that involve thousands of students in

The goal of EWEB's Partners In Education Program is to fund high-impact projects
that drive advancements in education in the EWEB service area, with emphasis on
content that relates to EWEB products, resources and priorities. Generally these
grants support the energy and water education projects of local non-profit organizations
and academic institutions. Please refer to the application and guidelines for complete
eligibility requirements.
The Energy Management Program at Lane Community College offers a two-year Associate
of Applied Science Degree that prepares students for a career in the energy management
field. EWEB's $120,000 annual grant provides base funding for the program and helps
assure our community a highly skilled workforce that can wisely manage energy use
in homes, business and industry.
