EWEB Business Growth & Retention program
Building under construction

Whether you're establishing a new business or expanding existing operations, EWEB is committed to assisting customers with financing options for utility service.

Let us know before you grow

EWEB wants to help growing operations avoid unexpected expense and safety hazards.

EWEB's Key Accounts staff is available to provide new or expanding operations with confidential technical help, HVAC and lighting design assistance and more.

Infrastructure made easier

EWEB's program offers two opportunities to help your new or expanding business.

  • Business growth & retention rate
This rate is designed to encourage smart growth, which encourages local economic development and benefits all EWEB customers. The rate is calculated only on energy charges, and it is effective for three years. To qualify, applicants must have new or additional load of 200KW minimum served through a single metering point.
  • Facility loan
Loans can help with the upfront cost of water, electric and telecommunication services associated with a new or expanding business. These costs may include utility equipment purchases, as well as associated EWEB construction, engineering services and connection fees. Loan amounts for qualified projects can be up to $500,000 with terms up to five years and a 4% interest rate. Applicants must have established credit worthiness and demonstrate the ability to meet loan repayment obligations.
