EWEB offers parking lot for school fundraisers
Thank you EWEB for granting Awbrey Park the Duck game parking lot fundraiser on Sept. 14.
It was a huge success thanks in part to you and your support of local schools.
The fundraiser helped us raise $2,285 for field trip transportation costs for the students
of Awbrey Park. The goal of Awbrey Park is to continue to make a positive difference in the
education of our children. The generosity and cooperative spirit demonstrated by EWEB
creating the parking lot fundraiser is precisely what we aim to teach our children in
order that they become outstanding citizens of the future. The student body, staff,
parents and the Awbrey Park PTO thank you for helping us accomplish our goals!
During the 2015 Oregon Ducks football season, a lucky group of schools will once again have the
opportunity to use EWEB parking lots for fundraiser events.
EWEB invited 4J, Bethel, Springfield and McKenzie schools located in its service territory to participate
in a lottery to "win" use of the parking lots at the utility's riverfront location during one of the
Ducks' seven home football games.
The following schools were randomly selected from the entries. Congratulations to our winning schools,
and Go Ducks!
- Sept. 5 vs. Eastern Washington
Camas Ridge Community School
- Sept. 19 vs. Georgia State
- Sept. 26 vs. Utah
Danebo Elementary School
- Oct. 10 vs. Washington State

- Nov. 7 vs. California

Schools will charge $10 for game parking. With around 300 spots available, each school has the
opportunity to raise as much as $3,000.
EWEB began offering the parking lots for school fundraisers in 2012.
Helping schools through fundraising is just one example of EWEB's long history of support for
"EWEB, much like Duck football, is part of the community," says John Femal,
the utility's education coordinator. "We give back when we can, and that's what the fans who
donate for game day parking are doing – they're supporting our students and teachers."
