At the March 3 public meeting, EWEB’s Board of Commissioners hosted Bonneville Power Administration’s Elliot Mainzer.
As the wide-ranging impacts of the coronavirus outbreak spread through our community, we are taking definitive actions to help and protect our customers and employees so we can continue providing reliable electricity and healthy water during this crisis.
Commissioners will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday via telephone to adhere to Oregon Gov. Kate Brown’s “Stay Home, Save Lives” executive order to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. To comply with the governor’s order, there will be no in-person attendance at the virtual meeting.
We know customers are facing unusual financial hardship due to COVID-19. On March 14 EWEB temporarily suspended disconnections for nonpayment and late fees.
