Read the Consumer Confidence Report EWEB publishes annually in compliance with federal law. This provides a snapshot of the previous year's water quality.

EWEB water meets or exceeds all health standards

EWEB water in 2015 again met or exceeded all state and federal drinking water health standards. In fact, EWEB has never violated a maximum contaminant level or any other water quality standard established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

EWEB continues to invest in our water treatment and delivery infrastructure to keep delivering high quality, safe drinking water to nearly 200,000 people.

In spite of recent increases, our water rates are still among the lowest in the Northwest, and in the nation. A "kgal" of water (1,000 gallons) costs on average about $1.60. That much milk would cost $2,500. That much bottled water would be around $2,000.

Our water is among the cleanest of any city water system, anywhere.
