For more than 100 years, we have delivered safe, clean, and reliable power and water to the Eugene-Springfield area. EWEB’s service area covers 236 square miles with a population of more than 200,000 people, including major institutions such as the University of Oregon. We are a community-owned, not for profit utility. Employing approximately 500 people, EWEB serves the people of Eugene by embodying core values of safety, reliability, responsibility and community.

Keeping the lights on and the water flowing is takes people doing many different jobs: skilled trade workers, information technology specialists, engineers, customer service representatives, administrative support, mechanics, energy specialists and many other professions.

Our commitment to diversity, equity & inclusion

We believe part of what makes EWEB a great place to work is our commitment to diversity and inclusion. We respect, value and embrace differences of culture, education, experience, physical ability and perspectives. We are looking for people who share in our commitment to diversity and inclusion and have a passion to serve EWEB's customer-owners.

Proud to be among the best

In 2022 EWEB became one of just over 50 organizations nationwide to be given National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Total Worker Health® Affiliate status. The Total Worker Health program aims to foster an integrated approach to protecting and promoting worker well-being through collaborations with academic, labor, nonprofit, and government organizations.  EWEB's wellness program features a subsidy for gym memberships, health risk appraisals, on-site physical therapy, and lifestyle programs focused on diabetes, weight loss, stress management, nutrition, and more.
