As an EWEB customer, you’re already using clean, renewable energy and investing in McKenzie Watershed protection. But together we can do more.
Many EWEB customers want to do more to support renewable energy and take action on climate change.
Explore these options for further reducing your energy-based carbon footprint, supporting local renewable energy projects, and helping displace dirty energy sources with wind, solar and other zero-emission sources across the northwest.
To serve your better, we are upgrading our customer information and billing system, which has been in place since the 1990s and is ready for an upgrade.
As we prepare for this major update, some programs and features are temporarily unavailable – including our customer programs. We are temporarily pausing all new applications for customer rebates, loans and environmental programs. We will begin accepting new applications in early December when we have transitioned to our new systems.
We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. EWEB staff will still be available to answer all questions regarding our efficiency and water conservation programs during this period.

Greenpower
Greenpower is an easy and voluntary way to support local renewable energy, above and beyond EWEB’s substantial renewable energy portfolio.
We use Greenpower dollars to:
- Fund EWEB’s rooftop solar incentive program
- Provide $50,000 Greenpower Grants to local non-profits for environmental projects
- Support clean energy generation through Renewable Energy Certificates
Join Greenpower for as little as $1.50 per month. If you can afford more, you can invest more — by matching up to 100% of your electricity consumption.

EWEB Cleanpower invites customers to match their energy usage with the purchase of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs). Investing in RECs allows developers of wind, solar and other renewable energy resources to confidently build more zero-emission generation, because they know they will be supported financially.
Invest in RECs for as little as $23.75 per month. If you can afford more, you can invest more — up to two-times your average monthly electricity consumption.
Learn moreInstall rooftop solar
Produce clean, renewable energy at your home or business. EWEB’s solar program is funded through voluntary Greenpower subscriptions.
Participants can pair solar with our zero-interest loan for battery storage systems.
Learn moreElectric vehicles
Here in the Pacific Northwest, where we enjoy abundant, low-cost hydroelectric power, electric vehicles are a smart economic choice and an important piece of the region's move away from fossil fuels.
More and more people are choosing electric vehicles over gas-powered cars to reduce pollution, conserve energy, save money and reduce their carbon footprint.
Whether you already have an electric vehicle, or you're considering electric transportation options, we can help with incentives, information and expertise.
