Join us for the 2024 Run to Stay Warm! Since 2007, runners of all ages have joined together on the third Sunday in November to Run to Stay Warm – a perfect name to acknowledge the event’s purpose from the beginning: to get people out running or walking (usually on one of the chilliest mornings of the year) with the knowledge that the miles they complete are for a bigger cause: to raise money for EWEB’s Customer Care Program.

We are excited to partner once again with our official race operator, Eugene Marathon to bring you all that you love about the Run to Stay Warm while continuing to benefit members of our community who may be experiencing challenges this year.
Races start and finish at Eugene's new City Hall Plaza (formerly EWEB)! Half Marathon, 10K and 5K courses will be familiar to returning runners, and will take participants on a gorgeous tour of the Ruth Bascom Riverbank Path along the Willamette River.
Bring the kiddos for a FREE 400ish meter dash. The dash begins at 8:30 am and starts from the same start line as the other distances. The course is a straight "out and back" along the river path.
Courses are professionally measured and marked at each mile.
Support Customer Care
For over a decade the Run to Stay Warm has raised funds for EWEB's Customer Care program, which helps customers who are having a difficult time paying their utility bills, particularly in colder months.
